Any probs let me know.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been away for a while. At the start of the page you need to put a calculation icon. Inside the icon create a variable such as PageID then set the PageID to 1 using the following code
PageID := 1 When you create the variaable authorware will ask you what it...
If your hotspot is still appearing later in the program, then you may have to tweak the Active if: on the responses section of that hotspot. I set up my page ID in a calc icon at the top of each page
PageID := 1 for example, then the hotspot will be
active if: PageID = 1
Many thanks

I have done something verry similar this morning. What I did was create a map with the appropriate number of display icons in it. Using the polygon tool trace the part of the diagram that you want to make into a hot objectmake sure that at the moment your fill option is not set to none...
Hi, Newbie to excel here.
I have written a small spreadsheet with several simple calculations in it. Is it possible to show the calculations in the cells rather than just the results of the calcs?
Any help will be gratefully received. Many thanks

I would be tempted to use the JumpPrintReturn function,
JumpPrintReturn(["program"], "document" [, "creator"])
details of which can be found in the Authorware help files.
If you use "" for program then windows will automatically use it's usual write.exe...
We have forms that we need to print, they are held on CD-Rom in a folder clled Charts. I write them in as PDF files and then use the JumpPrintReturn function. To Print a chart called 'ch1.PDF' I would use something like JumpPrintReturn("write.exe",CD_ROM^"Charts\\ch1.PDF")...
At present I am building the page and am just testing it in dreamweaver via the F12 button shouldthe buttons work in this mode? Many thanks

Hi,
I am very very new to Dreamweaver so please be patient with me. I have created a set of buttons in Flash5 and have used the insert flash icon from the objects group to put the button where required. However in preview nothing happens. I am obviously doing something very basic wrong but do...
I need to print a certificate to show that the end user has passed the course, thefinal page displays their name {username} and a randomly chosen certificate number {finalcertnum}. However, printscreen() does not print as required, it takes up approx. a quarter of the page. How can I get the end...
We had exactly the same problem and ended up buying Tabuleiro, it's from a guy in Brazil I think. Once installed it will play your Mpeg's with no problems, I love it! Saved me losing what's left of my hair. You can download a sample version from http://xtras.tabuleiro.com/
You will need the...
If you are producing CD based material, put your text in a folder, in the same directory as your Authorware.exe file. Insert it as RTF. Then in the calc icon for "print" use the Jump print return function in conjunction with the file location variable. With out looking I am not 100%...

Hi,
I'm very new to Dreamweaver, but have finally got something on the web, however, when I first started out I put an under construction page up whilst working on the rest of the project. I called this page "default". Now that the site proper is ready I can't get rid of the under...
Hi,
You have two options. Firstly you can use the cover ucd which will keep your presentation the same size throughout, or you can buy a program called set_res which sets the end users resolution when the program starts and re-sets it again at the end of the program.
The advantage with the cover...
