If I set the language in the master script does it carry over regardless of what happens to the call?
I have an initial application which prompts the caller to select a language. I then assign the language name to a call variable lang_cv. Then I do a route call to another application.

You are correct my names are too long. We are also using these phones as call centre telephones which causes another obvious issue as 1 line has the skilset and the other the CLID and CPND. I have submitted feature enhancement to Avaya and waiting for an update.
Yes you can send the name out and this if programmable per CLID Entry in LD 95 (As of RLS 5). The issue was that when using an ESS5 switch you must put NDS i the OPT field.
