Thanks for posting the resolution Pete825. I had a new installation and the handsets would not connect to the network, but your solution of using ETSI cured the fault - Top Man!

All I ever wanted to do was climb telephone poles - where did it all go wrong?
Suused it!! Ticked the "enable shared telephone service" box and I now go into the Suite mailbox.
They really don't pay me enough.

Thanks for replying so quickly Wireman50. I've discovered that if I call forward the first member of the Suite Group to vm then the Suite pilot number is also diverted to voicemail. Trouble is I'm going into the extensions mailbox and not the Suite pilot numbers one, which goes against...
Hi Teksters,
I'm probably doing something stupid here, as this should be easy but.....
I have set up hotel rooms in this manner, Room 25 has 2 extensions 5425 and 5525. Both extensions in Suite Group 7025 with immediate ring and voicemail set to yes. Next I went to the Call ReRouting...
Thanks for responding kwbMitel, your advice is very much appreciated. All the mailboxes will be the same digit length so we should be good to go.
Happy days!

Hi Teksters,
I have a customer who is migrating from an SX2K to a beautiful new 3300. They want to kick out their old voicemail system and use the embedded voicemail instead. No problem except that they are a hotel and want the guests to have mailboxes.
Am I right in saying they need the...
To tell the truth I prefer the manual way, but do you lose the ability to swap back to the previous load?

Thanks Benny89, next chance I get to play I'll check. What I would really like to do is use S.I. to apply licenses to a system with no Internet access, especially now you can't use mos options on MCD5. Trouble is, if you de-select backup, install software and restore database it still does it...
Thanks for replying Loopyloo, it's 11.0.1.11 which is the latest and perhaps not so greatest. Could be a bug in this load as I've not had this problem before either.

Hi Guru's
Has anyone else found that no matter what boxes you tick in the Software Installer tool it goes off and does EVERYTHING. For instance, I only wanted to load software on a controller, so I only ticked the install software box, but it did a backup, software install, license and restore...
It's a long shot but has someone changed call reroute number 1 to go to an unassigned number on busy. I'm sure you've checked but I can't see any other way this could happen.

Thanks for replying Guys. The Hubba box is not connected to a SIP provider, it just has 1 Orange Mobile 3G card stuck in thr top. I can log onto it and go through it's menu, and it does not mention SIP at all. I think this is a non starter.
It seems to me people are assuming SIP will work on any...
Ok, I have to 'fess up, SIP is as much a mystery to me as the mind of a beautiful woman.
Here's my problem, I have a client who has a box called a Hubba. It has a 3G SIM card and a LAN connection. He wants me to connect this Hubba to their 3300 via SIP to act as a backup to the PRI (PSTN calls...
Thanks Cluebird, much appreciated.

Hi Guys, wonder if you can ease my confusion. I passed my CCNA exam 6 years ago and renewed it 3 years later by passing the CVoice v6.0 (642-436) exam. My 3 years are almost up again, so can I re-certify by sitting the new CVoice v8.0 (642-437) exam, or will passing an updated version of a...
Lordy.... Sounds like it's got it's knickers in a twist. I'm thinking that if you did a datasave / restore and you ended up with a blank remote directory, this would be a good thing. You could delete the unwanted users in controller A, then (from each external controller) go to Network Elements...
I know it's a very large cluster, but is there any way you can avoid duplicate numbering. I believe that would solve the issue, if not it's good practice anyway.
There's no way now to jig around with remote directory, and syncing will fail if a number exists on 2 systems...
Cancel my first response - thats how I got around reach through not working - brain's back in gear now. The way I fixed this problem was I.E./Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab - tick the box "allow active content to run in files on my computer".
Now where was I.....?
I had an issue whereby if I tried to export to a .csv file it would ask for verification then crash and burn- don't know if that's what you're experiencing. I got around the issue by going to I.E/tools/Internet Options/Trusted Sites, hit the sites button and added 192.168.*.*, 10.*.*.* and...
Thanks Supernova99. You're right, exports and imports are probably the best way to go. They want to do it department by department outside normal working hours, so it might be long winded but it's a good overtime generator :)
