I have seen that sometimes if the peer is still reachable, even if the trunk is OOS, the calls will still try to route out the SIP trunk if the peer is responding to keepalive options.
I suppose the logic of failure is if the peering party is no longer reachable, no more events are received from...
DMZ setup is always tricky as NATing is involved.
99.9 % of the time, the issue will be firewall related for this setup.
You are correct when you said that the required ports have already been opened on the MBG end.
This depends on the mode in which the MBG is set-up of course.
When you said...
You need to make sure that the new MiVB MSL is licensed first before restoring DB.
Otherwise, it will fail, and you will end up with a blank DB.

I see…now that raises a few questions.
Just tying to help here :)
How long have they been this way? Are they new phones or refurbished ? Have they been this way from day 1?
If they are new phones, then I would say you have a bad batch, please organise a return.
If they were working ok and...
How many phones are having this issue? If it is just the one, then yes, I will say it's a faulty hook-switch issue and hence replace it.
If it's more than one, than we are looking at something entirely different.

I would break the ICP4-9 cluster and re-add them to the new vMCD+ Micollab cluster to be new members.
The only issue in doing this is from what I can see are -
1) secondary elements will be removed, and you will need to add them back in after you have joined the new cluster
2) inter-networking...
I suppose it really depends on how you get the greeting recorded.
I have seen a huge difference between greetings that are professionally recorded compared to the ones that arent.
Also may want to check QoS on the RTP from the MiCC to the voice network to make sure that it's correctly tagged...
You can schedule a backup of the MSL which will backup all the DB including all the blades.
MSL snapshot is not recommended by Mitel. Although it may work, it will not be supported.

I suppose the No disks found error is referring to the MSL ISO image, so I would start by checking how you are loading it.
Check BIOS settings to make sure the drive where the image is on is selected as the default boot drive.

Have you tried using "dummy" email addresses, MiCollab doesn't really care as long as the format of the email is correct?
I usually just use "user@domain.local" for instance.
Also, I don't believe this email feature can be disabled.

I had the same issue once and was seen that the issue was triggered by the carrier as they have not enabled the "hold option" on the trunk level.
That was for a SIP trunk thou.
I am not at all familiar with T1 trunks, being from the other side of the world where we use E1 instead.
I would first...
The feature is called A party Call forwarding. Not all Telco supports this feature or is disabled by default as it can be used for toll fraud.
Mitel_Specialist is correct with the parameters within the SIP peer, however, this is subject to the Telco allowing the feature.
If you are using an...
This will likely be SIP Device Capability issue.

MiCC is going out the door soon from what I heard. Just as they did with MiVCR.
Hopefully sooner than later if you ask me.
