Check that the ASPNET user, or possibly the IUSR_<machine> user if you are using anon. access, has permissions to the folder where the web service is installed. (I've had this before when the code was installed into Program Files and while the permissions where correct for the virtual...
Hi K,
I did what you suggested and, after lots of recoding (that I was hoping to avoid), it works a treat (I'll just listen to you from the start next time :-) ).
Thanks for your advice! (all)
Paul.
Hi Fred,
That very probably would explain it! (How the heck did you find that document - I spent all day looking for useful stuff! :-) )
I presume that I am doing a conditional suppression as I am setting the suppressing the section based on a formula; which would explain everything.
Thanks...
Thanks for your help all. I've tried exporting the report in Excel format, etc, and the suppressed sections remain just that - suppressed! So this makes me think that it must be something in U2FSEPV.DLL (separated values dll). I've applied 8.5 service packs 1, 2, 3 and the latest hotfixes and...
Hi,
I've got a crystal report that supresses certain sections (as you do) but when I hit the export button all of the supressed sections are exported. So what this means is I look at a report with five records, export to csv, and end up with a file with fifteen / twenty records in.
Any ideas...
The easiest way would be to make your text box html enabled (there is a flag on the properties to do this) and then just use html tags to format your text; so to get 'enter' you could use '<br>'.

A single dot and a back-slash mean 'in this directory', two dots and a back-slash mean 'in the previous directory' and a single back-slash means 'in the root directory'. (This is called relative addressing, because you are saying 'relative to this directory, move back one folder, or whatever)...
The way to do this is to design your button with a text box on it (as you say you have done). Then create a movie clip out of this (i.e.: by selecting the button on the stage and pressing F8 - or selecting 'create symbol').
You can then put this movie clip as many times as you like onto the...
Hi Terry,
That's just what I thought - but this schedule (set-up by someone else previously, I might add!) had been running fine for a year or so previously... anyway, I created a new schedule for it and it seems fine now... which is strange in itself!
Thanks anyway!

Dear all,
Quick emergency message! I've got a job scheduled to start at 23:45:00 and run from then on every hour. For some reason it appears to run fine at 23:45 (according to the event log) but not again after that - until the next day when it runs again at 23:45. It has run OK in the past...
Without wanting to make this thread last forever, and bearing in mind that I have great respect for Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop is not the industry standard because it came out before PSP, it is the industry standard because it is one of the BEST packages out there for the graphics professional...
I would post this as a seperate question if I were you - more likely to get a response!

p.s. Try fidling with the print settings in Photoshop - it is probably one of these that is causing your problem.
Anyone seen some of these rather nice Flash sites that are starting to appear that utilitize the maths functions in Flash to create trees, pseudo-realistic wind effects, objects that display semi-elasticity, etc, etc?
All I want to know is; anyone know any sites that have any the mathmatical...
In general I agree with you completely -> I've got into PS recently and there is now no looking back... however; there is one thing that you can do in PSP that PS can't do. Applying text/type to a vector. In PSP you can create a nice vector shape and then apply your text to it; the text...
I thought that the Gorrilaz (as in the band) were animated, etc, in Flash as well (though I have a feeling they were drawn in freehand and photoshop, or something...)

Actually, I just tried it out and it seems to pick the original key I metioned up when you hit File\Open. Even with Photoshop open if I change the registry setting, it changes the path when you open a file.
I'm on NT though (I know, but they won't buy me a mac), so that may alter how things...
Did you modify the registry while photoshop was running, or did you modify it and then load photoshop? You might find that it loads the key at start-up. Failing that it might be looking at the key in a different section of the registry. (for example: HKEY_USERS\<user...
