    POTS / Modem replacement

So it isn't a DATA modem that is answering, but a Dialogic board that is using voice prompts and keypresses to interact with the employee. ATA's should be perfectly reliable for this purpose. They ARE NOT usable for modem tones, and somewhat usable for Fax tones (if you lower the speed and...

Fluke TS44 Deluxe Replacement Cords in Canada?

You could go to Westek - https://www.westek.com/products/buttset-replacement-cord-1 They can even make custom butt set cords for you, mine has the clips, a shoe that fits over a 66 block, and a modular plug (that I keep plugged into a cord-coupler) so that I can test from the end of a phone's...

    Avaya Partner programing - Help

Are you using a 4-conductor line cord? Avaya equipped all of the ports on their modules and all of the jacks on their phones with RJ-45 size jacks, so that it would be an easy transition from the older Merlin platform to the Partner. The "ethernet" jack that you are seeing is the AUX jack...

IP Office/Voicemail Pro Emergency close situation

From Auto Attendant, dial **3637 to reach Emergency Mode module (also have a DID to reach it) Hear current Service Mode, input new Service Mode, hear new Service Mode, change again or disconnect. Service Mode set to Night Service (mode=2) calls go to Answering Service instead of Auto Attendant

IP Office/Voicemail Pro Emergency close situation

If you use the Hunt Group service mode to control routing the calls, also create a VM module to change the group's service mode, and give it a separate DID from the Main number. You can use a hidden option on the AA, but if incoming calls are all being forwarded, you would have to return to the...

    Small Office Edition

If you do a Feature 59 on a phone, does it indicate that it is a Partner Endeavor instead of a standard ACS?

SIP Trunk or FXO on Avaya IPO 500V2

That poor IP 500 control unit!!!! The power supply is located at the rear right corner and is being suffocated by resting on the carpet. At least put something under the corners so that some air can flow from underneath and rise through the rest of the CU

    Bogen UTI1 on trunk port

Viking Electronics AIB-1 and a station port will work flawlessly with the UTI1, however on the Analog Trunk that you're currently using, try setting the "Await Dial Tone" timer to 0

Play notification or message before every incoming call

Direct all incoming calls to a VM Module that plays the recording, then use Variable Routing to match $DDI (the DID that the call came in on) to its destination. You can only have 15 entries in the Variable Routing action, so link the No Match to another Variable Route with the next 15 DIDs to...

Avaya Partner - Voice Messaging PC Card - Auto Attendant Issues

Could be "talk-off" detecting digit zero, going to Ext. 10. Re-record the AA greeting with a different voice, and as Paul suggested, perhaps default the card and rebuild. PC Card Mails will develop memory issues as time goes on and require that default to start working again. What is hear...

    Long Distance Issue

At lest launch System Status, go to the SIP line, and click Trace All. You won't see all of the details from Monitor, but at least you will see the SIP messages that are being sent out and what is being received back.

    VM Pro AA Callflow

Sounds like you either recorded your greeting in the Name recording, or you haven't activated the correct recording

    VM Pro AA Callflow

Remove the Night Service destination on Group 255. All calls to 255 hit Voicemail. Check if 255 is IN service or not (NS or OOS). If IN service send call to MAINAA, if NOT send call to voicemail

    Avaya Partner programing - Help

If the AAA batteries in the ACS are good, and the Replace Batteries message is not displayed on Ext. 10, and you've backed up your programming before powering off to swap modules, the programming should absolutely have remained. Find the sticker on the ACS, and give us its exact model - lets...

Partner Voice Messaging PC card large

The backdoor password for the PC Card voicemail can only be entered from a phone connected locally to the control unit, not on a remote call. If you know the code, you can walk someone through dialing 0#-{Backdoor Password}-#-5-1234#-1234#-**9 to get it set back to 1234 If you don't have the...

    Avaya Partner programing - Help

The ring generator on your new 206 module is probably bad. Single Line phones should ALWAYS ring on Intercom calls. You can select if they get the double ring to distinguish internal from external, but other than no ringing voltage, they will ring when called.
