Actually I should have mentioned, this PC did at one time work with the router in question. So I'm not sure it's the card. I did ask the client to check the version of the card since the 2200's had several revisions.
Here's one I've been working on for a client. They've got three pc's,
PC one is a desktop running Windows XP Home edition with a Netgear wireless card.
PC two is an Apple MacBook
PC three is a Dell Inspiron 600M laptop with Intel 2200 card.
They have Cox for their broadband provider and...
I wouldn't touch Cisco's solution. It depends upon, you guessed it, MS Exchange. Anything that uses a sub-par Microsoft product to by the linchpin of their flagship is definitely trouble.
I'm fighting that battle in my office now. They don't like the Avaya system mostly because they don't like...
Kevin,
On page 2 it's set to MSA-SPE which works on other stations (7406D's and 8410D's) without issue.
Audible was set but it wasn't even getting that.
I have two systems, the main one to which the Audix LX is attached is a Prologix G3iv11. The remote system is a System 75 Definity G3iv6.
I have one extension on the System 75 where the message waiting light will never light. I've swapped out the phone (7406D), and the port to no avail. I've...
Back in 2001 I was working for an agency that had a G3iV6 System 75. At the time we were paying outrageous fees for hardware support.
As luck would have it, we found out that another agency was getting rid of their Definity system. The cards between systems are pretty much the same, with the...
We've run into that problem already. We've got about 200GB of data to backup regularly and most tape drives that we have are 20/40GB.
We also found tape to be somewhat unreliable. So we bought an HP Proliant ML150 G3 with 2TB of space on it. Used Debian and rsnapshot as well as the lvm to join...
I figured it out. In the trunk definition for Archives on Switch A, I had to set disconnect supervision for inward calls.
The thing that tipped it I realized I was doing a trunk to trunk transfer (Normal to DCS) and if supervision wasn't passed along, it'd disconnect within six seconds.
Ok - I have two Definity switches connected via DCS over a PRI circuit.
Person dials our Archives division. Their service is attached to Switch A via an MCK over PRI. They try to transfer a call to Switch B (DCS) and the call goes but after a few seconds it drops. Interestingly if the person...
I have a Linksys WAP54G with WPA TKIP personal turned on. I've recently received a G4 Powerbook and am trying to get it to connect with no success.
It connects to a Linksys 802.11b device in my office, but not to my WPA protected G router.
It's OS-X 10.2.8 and I cannot believe it can't...
Found the problem. This is what happens when you have others do the job for you. The designator strip on the port side was partitioned into eight sections, so when I told them 01A1004 they in reality put the station on 01A1016. So the phone was just sitting on a TTI port and I didn't know it...
We have a G3iV6 system that has one 6408D+ already on the system connected to a TN2224 card. The existing extension is dialable from both the G3iV6 and the prologix since the UDP settings are good.
When I setup another 6408D+ on the same TN2224 card and try to call it I get a busy signal. If I...
That would be all fine and dandy but when you login as sa you're immediately launched into X-Windows and the ssh session to the box comes up. We need to modify the certificate.
When we moved our office we also moved our Audix system and put it on a different IP network. I can access the admin pages but when I try to do messaging administration it craps out.
It's definitely related to the certificate that Avaya uses. How do I change the cert information so that I can...
You can probably get away with this, but I think you want to use a wireless router as opposed to a wireless access point since the router will do DHCP, the WAP won't.
If you already have a DHCP server in place, the WAP can do DHCP pass through.
Here's what amazes me. Everyone is saying how business saves a bizillion dollars outsourcing tech support to India, but in reality where are those savings being applied. Prices are pretty flat on most IT gear, so the money has to be going somewhere.
