Problem adding a 6408D+

We have a G3iV6 system that has one 6408D+ already on the system connected to a TN2224 card. The existing extension is dialable from both the G3iV6 and the prologix since the UDP settings are good.

When I setup another 6408D+ on the same TN2224 card and try to call it I get a busy signal. If I log onto my Prologix and do a LIST TRACE ST my-ext I get the following output:

What could be causing the denial event 1179 at 15:50:19?

And how do I get this phone to work. As it stands now the phone gets dialtone but none of the display functions or feature buttons work. And it cannot dial anything without getting re-order.

Are you sure of the port it is on, sounds like it has been "separated" from the port. I suggest if it has not, do a list trace on the other one that does work and compare.

Found the problem. This is what happens when you have others do the job for you. The designator strip on the port side was partitioned into eight sections, so when I told them 01A1004 they in reality put the station on 01A1016. So the phone was just sitting on a TTI port and I didn't know it.

Went over to the facility and re-wired and all works fine now.
