I’m not sure if it’s all changed on 12.. but I normally install the software and select Demo mode..it builds the system as Normal with demo licences so as you can use it for a year…nothing else is required..
Except lines and phones…
So you PMS makes the changes to the IPO.
Does the name change on the phone when it’s updated via PMs.
Remember to see any changes on the ipo Manger you need to login and pull a new config after any update to see the change..it’s not live updates.
Also did you check SSA users to see if the name...
Just run standard multi core cable between buildings as you would for any Pots phone.
Terminate on Patch panel each end .Main cab and remote Cab.
Then use patch cords from the Expansion Module to connect phones at each end
Use monitor as suggested..the file can be saved and played back to check your error ..
SSA is the same..you can save a file and play it back on SSA as if your watching it live.
Since you have already plugged in a wrong cable for management.
Have you connected the expansion unit with the correct cable supplied and into port 1 at the rear of the ipo control unit..for the expansion units.
Assuming you haven’t replaced it try removing it and reinsert it again.
Try a reboot of the exp2.
Going back A few years ago with this issue
I had to recreate the SD card and restore a backup.
And why can’t Sip 2 user dial out from Sip2 trunks
Maybe try to allow user to have a different short code to route 911 through the sip 2
Or simply get the service provider to allow the users to dial out.
In monitor, I keep getting this error message VMPro TFTP Accesss: Password BAD 192.168.20.254.
We don’t know what software version your on or ipo type.
so if you can’t access vmpro and it’s saying bad password,
Have you tried changing the password on ipo and vmpro to match.

How do you retrieve the call..using a button or shortcode..what is it
Ans is it call park or call pickup
Look in system monitor…see if the error shows there.
Maybe all ip licence used up…
Maybe ip address used up and no more can be released. Reboot clears them.
You can use the ICR..incoming call route..
In there you can set time profiles to go to different groups or Auto Attentants.
So when the call comes in it looks at the ICR and checks to see it a time profile is set and routes the call accordingly.
you need to create multiple time profiles (1...
Have a look at this for some help.
You can gleam some info from this

Ohh..after posting I realised you sorted it 🤦♂️
So you have proved the system is sending out dhcp and phone works.
Did you try to reconnect the phone back to the Cisco switch after it received the new settings to see if it reconnects.
Look at the settings of the phone and see what info it has now picked up
Also you stated the ipo dhcp is...
What I am trying to understand is the second switch for ip phones only or are they across all switches.
It sounds as though the second lanport (wan2) of the ipo is the connection for the phones
So you need to set the laptop to the phone ip range 10.253.. then ping the ipo on this range.
It...
