Good Afternoon everyone,
I'm in a pickle right now. Last few days our phone system is not picking up dhcp. the phone says "vlan =300" we did an network upgrade over the weekend.

We have an Avaya ip office manager 8.1. we have gone from 192.168 to 10.128. our phone supplier no longer wants to be involved (as it no longer supported) so i'm taking over the system,

we have a switch but we don't know who installed it and i cant get a console cable on the switch as we don't know the password to access it. i've connected a laptop directly onto the switch and can see it's picking up an ip address and subnet.

we have two connections lan1 which is going into our new switch with vlan 100 enabled.
Wan1 is going directly into the switch,

i've changed the lan1 to our new network ip : 10.128 and made sure dhcp is disabled. i havent touched voip on lan1

Lan2 the ip is different 10.253 but dhcp mode is enabled and pool is set to 100. start address is 101.

is there anything i need to do to get this working?

So you have proved the system is sending out dhcp and phone works.

Did you try to reconnect the phone back to the Cisco switch after it received the new settings to see if it reconnects.

Look at the settings of the phone and see what info it has now picked up

Also you stated the ipo dhcp is set to 100 phones and you have 250 phones ?.
To me that means only 100 phones will get dhcp.

You could also CLEAR one ip phone settings and let it reboot to see what info it picks up.

i did plug it back into the port and it didn't pick up any dhcp.

i had to do an inventory yesterday so we have 250 phones. but only 100 get used the rest got removed now.

might factory reset a phone see what it's picking up.

@snowman50. finally got it working... it was iproute... the old phone supplier deleted it looking in the logs.

now i have another issue. the whole office phones working fine... we have a massive warehouse but they aint getting dhcp which is weird...

also got monitor working.....

i got this issue now...
