Thank's skip555, good link. Costly but effective. $600 plus labor maybe some of the older employees will get used to dialing the "9" after I run this by the purchasing manager. All of the stations are set to grab a trunk first other than intercom so I don't see a problem there. Thank,s again skip.
Have customer with 12 centrex lines. I'm looking for some type of unit to automatically dial the required digit to make an outside call immediately after going off hook. The telephone system cant be programmed to do this, and the people using it cant get used to dialing the "9" before making a call.
It's an odd battery with two negative terminals. You could use a typical cordless phone battery, (most are 3.6v) but it's not good practice. Last one I replaced cost around 30 bucks and was'nt too difficult to solder in.
1043 is right. Avaya needs to update their compatability charts. I recently was caught in this scenario. as long as DND is on the auto attendant transfers the call to ext 10. VM will cover if DND isnt used. My config was R.7 ACS w/ PMVS R.5 version 15. Other than try to get the patch I...

I've had problems also with these new carriers. I noticed the modules dont interlock with each other like in the old ones. It looks like avaya made the slots a little bit farther apart. If you try to interlock the modules together they wont go in. Ive used a 1/2 dozen...
Anyone who's been involved in end user training has to admit its one of their least favorite parts of the job. WE all know how it works, but for someone else its jib. I'd like to get my hands on Hal's self made documents, it would make my job a helluva lot easier.
Some of the UPS' I messed with you had to hold the power button down a few seconds to power it up.
You really need a user guide. You might have got stuck with a bunch of old units that need the batteries replaced.
Don't waste your time monkeyin' with the 12vdc charger. the batteries are charged...
Something is tripping the page, an intermittent short, most likely a faulty amp. As skip555 suggested it would help to know more about how it's set up.
Hey crwsanfran, why such long patch cords? for something quick and temporary? 50- 150ft patch cords sounds like the customer is tryin to get around gettin jacks installed with the standard CAT 5-6 and using the right patch cord on both ends.
