This customer has a partner acs 3.0 that has a "hanging up sound" while talking on her extension. She says it sounds as if the other party is hanging up in the middle of the phone call.
This occurs on outside and inside calls. She has changed phones, and wires and we have repunched her cables.

Any suggestions?

Chris

Sounds like a bad station port. Have you checked it at the ACS?

That's the next step. I was curious to see if it was anything else before I changed out the board.

I have seen this due to power also, we always put a ups on them.

have you been able to verify this or are you going by her report ?

have you tried wiggling her handset cord ? a bad cord or connection can cause a clicking sound as described. on the mls phones the plastic jack that the handset cord plugs into can cause problems .

have you tried putting her on a diffrent port ?

I think what toolman18 is suggesting is that you plug the phone directly into the port on the ACS

It stopped doing it on it's own. I'll wait til it starts up again before I do anything else.
