Subject: Wires Crossed??

Hi there,

Therese from computer help desk suggested I email you on this. Our neighbourhood association runs a computer literacy program out of room 1 here at FHCC. The computers were donated to them from the Catholic School board therefore are not City computers. The past couple of weeks the monitors change colour when you turn them on and the mouse is acting like it is being pulled towards a magnet (like a compass needle). The instructor has a friend that lives right across the street from station five and she has been having the same problem during the past week.

I remembered that Norm (phone service company) was doing some work at station five last week and Therese thought I should check into this because there has been no work done in room one. Maybe a wire was moved to close to another or something was done to cause this "weird" activity!

Please let me know what you think about this.

Thanks!

fess up to what your guy did and buy her new work stations ;-)

Clearly this is way beyond what any "Phone Man" can be held accountable for.

I'd suggest contacting either Art Bell, or Homeland Security ;)

Best of luck.

Maybe posting this in PC hardware would help you. Doesnt sound like a cabling issue.
