Ok, since the drivers for the audigy are updrade only i have to install the 98 drivers first, so i do the drivers only install. then i run creatives xp upgrade drivers and they seem to go through normal, the only problem is that in device manager it shows that it is audigy etc, but also says...

is it the same stop error every time, if so it could be the ram, or maybee a bios setting, have you loaded the fail safe defaults? try that firs, then try a stick of known good ram. see if that helps

i think your going way to in depth in the process, either one is good, it is a choice of preference, i prefer lg over teac, but i prefer tdk overall.

yes, xp pro, the ram is a local generic actually, but it is good quality, it overclocks well and ive had no problems with it, we buy tons of it here at work and it has been great, it obviously wont overclock like corsair etc, but i tested it against my friends corsair and its not far behind, not...
