    Grandstream ATA

Does anyone know if the HT801/802 can be configured to ringdown........looking at the manualit doesn't specifically say they can.

Thank you.......i did have an old laptop running Windows 7 with legacy IE on it. Went theough the process and can now access the gateway from my main laptop using Chrome on W11.

    Digital gateway certificate

Is there a browser that will allow access to the DG now that the security cert is expired and if nor, does anyone have a workaround for it.

Setup Avaya 1416 feature keys in Emetrotel

In the XSTIM extension programming, did you set the correct phone type from the drop down list.......A1416 is what you need. Doing that should bring up the button programming at the bottom of the page where you can program whatever xstim features you want....just like any Nortel phone.

    "New phone system" Options

You should investigate a Yeastar PBX with an appropriately sized ATA for the analog phones. Office phones can be pretty much any SIP phone on the market. The Yeastar also has a built-in hospitality system and can interface to most of the popular PMS systems. Yeastars come in various sizes and...

    On Premise PBX Recommendations 2023

I've been working with these systems for over 10 years and they are rock solid. Have never had one of them fail yet and I have installed hundreds of various capacities. They don't install anything themselves but use resellers for that. You can go to their website where you can locate a dealer...

    On Premise PBX Recommendations 2023

Emetrotel if you like the Nortel stuff and Yeastar for a total IP solution. Both are capable of analog, digital, wireles and voip trunks and analog stations if you need them and they both support pretty much any sip phone on the market. Emetro also supports almost every Nortel phone ever made...

    Bad expansion cabinet?

Before getting too carried away, you might just try swapping the power supplies between the 2 cabinets. I've ran into this a couple of times where the supply puts out the voltage but can't deliver enough current to run the phones. It only takes a minute to try it....might save a lot of...

    Thanks......I'll give that a try!

    1165e

Thanks.......but it's not going onto a BCM......Emetrotel and the firmware can uploaded to them. They are supported on those systems. I thought I read somewhere that they have a GUI which is what I'm looking for info on as well as how to upload images. Lots of places that have user guides but...

    1165e

I've never even installed one of these but I think I read somewhere that they have a GUI in them. Does anyone know if that's the case and if so what's the credentials to get into one?

    PRI T1

Clicking on PRI lines during active calls is one of the major indicators of a timing issue. Like Curly says, make sure your parameters match the carrier's settings.....in particular, the coding and framing ones. If I recall correctly, NI1 is equivalent to DMS-100 on the Norstar/BCM systems and...

CallPilot 100/150 web interface not working

I ran into this issue with a few BCM50s. If you're using Chrome, it's probably been auto upgraded and won't support the older protocols. Try using Internet Explorer....it worked for me on the older systems.

Interface Valcom V-2924 to hosted Netsapiens

That device looks like a paging system and adapter all in one so if it says it needs a CO trunk, then they will be supplying all the necessary voltages for it to work so you should be able to use an FXO interface unit for it. I also think that stuff is old and is no longer manufactured but if it...

Interface Valcom V-2924 to hosted Netsapiens

Legacy paging systems and modern voip systems are usually a nightmare these days. Most legacy paging systems were set up to accommodate the PBXs of the times. Some used trunk interfaces (FXO), some used analog ports (FXS) and some used paging ports like Norstar/NCMs. Almost all modern voip...

Interface Valcom V-2924 to hosted Netsapiens

Try using a VOX SIP unit. Made for connecting to legacy paging systems and connecting to a modern sip capable PBX, whether premise-based or hosted. I have a whole bunch of them deployed and they work great. With a license, you can even get scheduled announcements out of them.

    Ring group CLID

I should also mention that this happens whether I have transferor or transferee set in the Attended Transfer number field in the Nortel settings.

    Ring group CLID

I must be missing something somewhere. I have an 1140 set up as the reception phone and calls come into the system via PRI. The inbound route is set to go to a very simple time condition that during the day sends it to a ring group that comtains the reception extension. When reception transfers...
