In SSA hit the plus sign on trunks and select the PRI line. It will illustrate how long a channel has been idle since the last reboot. You can check how long it has been since the last system restart by selecting Alarms. If the last reboot was a month ago and you see channels idle since that...
Basically the 1603 is an IP Phone without a dual Ethernet port. The SW has the second Ethernet port and therefore may support a tethered PC. Note, if you use a PoE switch you need a PoE Adapter that fits in the based of the phone stand.
intrigrant, I have a couple additional items for your understanding. We have a small office, am an Avaya Business Partner, running latest IPO R9.1.6, Adtran Firewall, NO Session Border Controller, using 7 SIP Channels for Inbound and Outbound Service. Have to be connected to the Internet.
Have you checked to see if any of your licenses are invalid now. Possibly something got hosed during the upgrade and I recollect that 2-hours is how long certain features will run without the correct licenses.
It was added to SSA on R9.0
911 Enhancements
Release 9 replaces the legacy E911 feature with new functionality to handle the routing and notification of Emergency call based on new Location configuration objects. Support for legacy E911 add-ons is removed from IP Office R9.0.

I suggest that in the huntgroup programming you use "Collective Call Waiting" that allows the 2nd appearance to ring while on the first appearance. You will receive a short chirp of a ring and the 2nd appearance will flash.
I suggest you do the following, I would open a ticket with Avaya via the Service Request process. They will likely recommend that you upgrade to 9.1.6, but it is a good place to start and you should have Avaya IPOCC Service Support because it is required with IPOCC.
It has to do with your Java software. I have had this problem since 9.1. Maybe someone has a permanent fix, but we correct by making sure your Java is up to date and then do a repair via the windows installer on the IPO Admin file.
For several months now our production IP Office System is being continuously attacked by a hacker trying to login to the system admin and VoIP extensions. We have a strong passwords, but it is still troubling me that it is continuous. In the amount of time for me to type this message almost 50...
I suggest you run the "Automatic Balance Impedance Match" test located in the "Line" window pane on Manager. That will help make sure that the Analog Trunk Lines Settings in the IP Office are tested to best match the service provider Analog Trunks.
IPGuru, thanks for the suggestion. I will check that out. I believe that we already performed PCN1920H. This particular site was subject to the issues last year around January. We replaced three UC Modules and worked with Avaya Tier 4 until the resolution was found. To our knowledge we did...
That tech tip is for very recently manufactured UCM's that have certain serial numbers. This unit has been in for over a year and the serial number is not in the range that this tech tip addresses. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Whisper is a feature in the IPO VM Pro Solution. I am heading to a meeting right now, but if no one post how to do it, I will do so later. But for purposes of the bid you may state that the IPO supports this feature quite nicely.
We recently learned from one of our customers that the UC110 VM Module goes off line for no obvious reason. They stated that it was only about 3 or 4 times over the last 5 or 6 months, but they decided to share because they thought it might be a hardware or software issue. We investigated and...
Multiple call park buttons may be necessary depends on how busy the customer is and how many calls may be parked at the same time. You may assign as many as you need, i.e. Park 1, Park 2, Park 3, etc... Good luck.
I suggest just assigning a call park button on any or all phones. the answering party my then answer the call pick up and then place it on park. the called party when returning to their own phone will see the call park button either blinking or illuminated and may pick it up there. I am...
Premier Technologies USB1200. Solid State, 6 pre-recorded messages with Music and USB Stick for customized MP3 recording. Purchased hundreds, never had one go bad.
Problem resolved. For some reason the TFTP Server IP Address was not LAN1 Address. Changed that to the LAN1 IP and Changed Phone File Server Type to Memory Card and that did it. Thanks for all the posted responses.
