It sounds like the caller is coming through the auto-attendant. Is the number that is calling sent to the pilot number of voicemail or could this be a caller application? If so, have there been changes to the Association table for the Caller Application Editor?

If not, can you go to the graphic user interface to the system status or alarm logs?
Along with this... if you have more than one MAS the database for Tracing is installed on only one MAS in an MM domain. You can point the database to other MAS and this procedure is in the Messaging Application Administration guide.
In the VMSC under Messaging Application Servers and in the upper quadrant of this tool, you'll see a Messaging icon. If you select this you will see the DC that the MM is tied to.
