Hi All,
Can anyone give me some info on setting up toll restriction on a Toshiba DK-16 and allowing the customer to put in a code to bypass it ?
Thanks,
Rick
Well, I finally solved MY problem..
I was using a Viking Phone-line simulator to call into the system. ( this was a pre-installation project ) As soon as I provided CO dial-tone, it stopped dropping the transfer.
That probably doesn't help you, Teledial, but maybe someone else reading this...
Ok, I just made another test.. it's definitely NOT the VM unit..
I call in to the Phone system, I answer the call and transfer it. If I transfer the call to the extension that is not forwarded outside, the transfer is normal.
If I transfer to the same extension, but now it's forwarded to...
This is looking more and more like it's something with the VM..
I set the COS to Supervised.
I programmed the phone to dial the time and I monitored the CO trunk that it was to call out on.
Everything went fine right up until the Time-Lady answered the call.. the call immediatly dropped and...
I'm having the same problem. ( what a coincidence )
One thing you want to check is dialing the extension from another extension. If it goes through ( like mine does ) then I'm assuming it must be something in the voice-mail.
I've changed class of service for the mailbox to '8' but still no...
Does anyone know a way to change the speed interval of the speed-dial digits. The customer lost programming and we notice that the interval is extremely fast now and won't trigger a gate on the property.
I've looked through the manual and can't find any reference to this.
Thanks,
Rick
Thanks for the info, Merlinman.
I'll set up the SMDR to see what's going on.
I'm wondering, rather than add another T-1, can I have a few more standard outgoing trunks that could handle an overflow from the outbound PRI ? Or am I getting too out there ? haha ( they're complaining about...
I have a legend 7.0 with PRI.
I belive that due to many realtors having their extensions forwarded to their cell phones, we're getting complaints of incoming callers getting busy signals.
Is there any way to track this ?
Is another PRI possible ?
Is there a better cost effective solution ?
Thanks.
I figured it out..
NtwkServ requires an entry for every table..
Since it isn't highlighted, even in table '0', I figured it was the default for all.
Wrong again.
Thanks to Jinx & Merlinman for responding so quickly.
I have a Legend 7.0 with a PRI.
I have been unable to get any table in the Dial Plan Routing to work except table '0'.
I swapped out the Processor with the same results.
Am I missing something ?
Scenario: My Company needed to expand their Extension count beyond 300 û 399.
I created Extensions 400 - 419
Their current DID inbound calling group was xxx-5000 to xxx-5099
I had SBC add another DID inbound group of xxx-5100 to xxx-5119
The challenge was to program the system to route...
Thanks to all who tried to help on this.
By looking at the print out for PRI and then taking the terms and searching the PDF's, I was able to figure it out.
So, I figure some of you might want to know what I did to make it work..
This programming is performed under System/ Lines & Trunks/ PRI/...
That will be great, if it'll work. I'll be going out there tommorrow, so I'll check it then.
I wish someone would explain to me what's really happening with the tables as I asked before..
"are we identifying the 3rd digit as a zero and changing it to a 4 ( which is already occurring ), as well...
the existing DID #'s are xxx-5000 thru -5099.
The company had one hundred+ extensions.. 400 thru 499.
They have added 20 more employees so I created extensions 500 thru 519. Telco has added the -5100 thru -5119 to the DIDs to accomidate the new extensions. I need to set up the translation(?)...
hmmm..
It's making more sense now, but tell me.. are we identifying the 3rd digit as a zero and changing it to a 4 ( which is already occurring ), as well as identifying the 3rd digit as a 1 and changing IT to a 5 ?
or is that impossible ? ( I was told it could be done )
