Does anyone know a way to change the speed interval of the speed-dial digits. The customer lost programming and we notice that the interval is extremely fast now and won't trigger a gate on the property.
I've looked through the manual and can't find any reference to this.

Thanks,
Rick

I do not believe there is a way to change the speed - it is supposed to be preset at a standard 10 digits per second. However, if they lost programming - they may have lost the Hold(pause)digit as the first digit on an Outside Auto Dial button - which is required if the local telco is slow in providing dialtone.

By the way - if the customer lost programming - it probably means that the back-up rechargeable battery on the feature module needs replacement. They only last about 3 to 5 years.

LOL

I was hoping there would be a programming parameter that only the X telco guys know, that isn't in the manual.

The X telco guy says:

Sell them a Legend.

Nothing less than R7. [/color red]

Use the Hold (pause) where you need it in the dial string for the autodial button. There is no "magic" parameter. It was probably there before programming was lost.
