No password seems to have corrected the issue. Removed them a while back and no problems since, just confirmed with the customer. Hope it can help someone else ;)
And how would this translate in the regular login procedure?
Pressing "more" on the right softkey;
Selecting "connexion" from the menu (containing this only item);
Entering "xxx*lll" where xxx is the user DN and lll it's password;
In a situation with no password: 123* ? Or just 123 ?
So...
Just had a brainfart...tell me what you think of this:
User cannot login or out when there is no password set under "User->Telephony->Supervisor settings".
Would removing all passwords from this field resolve the issue of phones logging out by removing the ability to do so?
Thank you
Pepp77, are you talking about the users randomly login out problem, or the phones unsubscribing problem?
I was told there were some issues with the "Provisionning" method, but the advantages were by far greater than an "unprovisionned" installation in my opinion.
It's really getting the user...
Hum...
I also have this problem at a customer's site... however, no 3740 IP Dect phones are in any of the huntgroups :s
Customer has a mix of standard and compact base stations. Sometimes they de-register themselves compeltely, sometimes the user is only logged out and has to signin again...
Hi,
I'm running in circles here trying to make an auto-attendant transfert to an external number using only one POTS line. I've read posts of people finally managing to make it work, but their solutions don't work on my setup. I'm setup in Canada, so no offense to participants from other...
Yeah...that's what the network tech said, and I'm not able to confirm or not
We've tried with a brand-new-straight-out-of-the-box telephone of the same type and it cannot either. So we've eliminated the possibility of residual parameters stuck in the flashrom.
Can anyone tell me how the switch...
No, communications and DHCP assignment between a PC and the IPO are fine, I can ping, access Manager, web interface and all from a PC on the same switch, I can even ping the IP Phones, sometimes (seems to stop functionning after a while).
The network tech has found some kind of...
If I connect either a 9641 or 9621 phone directly to the IP Office 500 v2 (8.1.56) through a PoE injector, they both boot fine and load their config + user data.
However, as soon as I connect them through a PoE switch (no config in the switch) I get a HTTP error of the type HTTP...
Hum, yeah tlpeter,
But as mentionned, I already tried to "upgrade" from a usb device plugged in the front ports, but during the install process it reports a write/read error on drive and stops... so that's a no-go.
We are facing a critical error while booting the VM Pro UC Module installed in our lab for experimentation purposes. It was updated correctly and ran for over 3 months on version 8.1.90-6. The IP Office also runs on 8.1 (52).For some obscur reason tough, last time we tried logging in to make...

Auto-answered my question... If some of you had the same, here's the answer:
I used WebManager to solve the issue... The VMS Settings for individual trunks had to be set this way:
Delay - Day 0 (Number of rings before answer, after CLID detection)
Delay - Night 0...
Hi all,
Can't seem to get the hold of it, i'm missing a (big) part of the puzzle here.
I can program the menu, record the prompts, set various time tables, but i just CAN'T get the line to answer using the auto-attendant...
Tried the "Coverage destination" in the lines section,
Tried the VMS...
So I tought, and there seems to be a minor bug when using a Home transfert node in a CCR instead of a custom greeting prompt, causing fax calls to be disconnected rather than routed... That option (had it worked) would have been great...
Well, that is a good idea when you have a sufficient call volume and use your phone a lot. Unfortunatley that is not the customer's situation... There is very few calls coming in and/or being made, as well as few faxes sent/received. Customer is not willing to pay for 2 lines with the current...
