I think the Road Map was pretty muddy. They told everyone that the branding will change in a couple of years (OR more). They way the put it was "with a long tail". They plan to integrate the features of both products and most importantly compatibility with all phones. The installed base for...

I really don't know the answer to that. You would need to contact RSI. I only read about this feature in their literature recently. I think it is only for the newer LAN CTE versions. I would suggest you contact their Director of Sales.

There is external software that works with CTA and BCM LAN CTE which I believe is sold by RSI which will now capture agent ID. This is somethign recent. I believe it is part of their tools CTI Pack.
The internal activity reporter is not downloadable. In fact, it is limited in scope. It only retains 4 days of data before discarding it for the next day. It has some static reports but then again what do you expect for free!
If you need CSV, you will need external software to manipulate the...
BCM 50 does not have any kind of serial stream. They offer an CDR Push/Pull mechanism and a socket stream. Both require Nortel tools to work. Some Nortel Developer partners offer collection software and call accounting because they are given the APIs to use. RSI has the largest collection...
RSI is the only vendor that is cross-platform that I know. They have Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, ShoreTel and whole bunch of other compatible lab tested products. I think they are sold by most of the major channels. I started recommending the stuff about 10 years ago. I have never had a problem...

You could run a scheduled task on the host server. The task could be a simple script, batch file or executable that APPENDs the files together under one name (i.e. cdr.dat).
I have used the RSI third party app with their Shadow CMS product. I did not know that Call Accounting Mate is recommending its use with their application.
Nortel Activity Reporter provides CDR Pull built right into the software (for BCM 50 Rls. 3.0 and later).

I forgot to mention, Nortel now offers Nortel Activity Reporter that does the full job of data collection, call accounting and management of CCR, VM and Hunt statistics.

It is possible to do exactly what you are looking for using third party software. You want to have forced/verified (or unverified) account codes for billback.
Look at tools CTI Pack from RSI at www.callaccountingsoftware.com. It does exactly that and works with Equitrac
