Exchange 5.5 site to site transfer different Organizations

The Move Server Wizard (MSW) is the answer. It can be quite complicated selecting the the right route to take, but will do what you need. It was introduced in SP2 for Exchange 5.5 I have used it to good effect when bringing one of our sites into the Org. Let me know if you need more detail.

How do you get into Outlook Web Acc

You will need an IIS (usually installed on an Exchange server), and to add OWA to the Exchange setup. You may also want to consider SSL if required over Internet. It is very effective for travelling users, and fairly straightfoeward for users. Details on TechNet.

    Deleting recipients

Is there more than one server in the site/Org? It may be a replication problem. You could try doing a directory update if multi-server, but this should normally occur every 15mins anyway. It sounds like a directory problem, but be sure to view hidden recipients also. Have you tried logging on...

    Moving mailboxes between sites/domains

You can also (over a weekend), employ the Move Server Wizard (MSW) to move the other server into your site, and then 'move' mailboxes. This has some advantages, in that it will incorporate both smtp addresses (user@yourdomain.co.uk) and their addresses (user@theirdomain.co.uk) into each...

Show an email as read on users machine and a delegates machine

Rather than forward duplicate copies of appointments and email to the secretary, give her/him access to her boss's mailbox. That way, everything she does is the same as if the boss did it! The boss must give express permission (get it in writing), and should be aware of what this means!!

Capture copies of all outbound internet mail

Journalling is the feature you are looking to implement. Spookily, it's something I'm doing at the moment. It's supported from SP1 I believe and involves a few registry hacks, storage space (to hold all these emails), and a secure place to copy them to! See Outbound journaling at...

changing a footer displayed in outgoing email

Although it is trivially simple to accomplish this, it does involve editing a registry key (assuming third-party s/w has not been used). The key is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ MSExchangeIMC\Parameters\OutboundAppend See...

How do I disable public folder access????????

If you want to prevent users creating PFs, create a DL (perhaps 'PF Admin') with yourself or another DL; 'Exch Admins' as the member(s). Go to: Organisation\Site\Configuration - Information Store Site Configuration properties, and Top-level folder creation. Place the DL in 'Allowed to create...

    Mysterious outbound email

If the recipient views the headers in the original email (and hopefully forwards them to you), you should see which mailservers handled it. Assuming he's using Outlook, select 'View/Options'. The headers are in the large textbox. Tell him to copy to an email and forward. You might be lucky...

    Searching the Pub/Priv Info Store

I need to search through all containers (mailboxes/public folders) in the Priv/Pub info store for specific originator/recipient smtp addresses/domains. How do I do this?? Anyone tried this before? Basically, a legal requirement has arisen to see if there has been any communication between my...
