changing a footer displayed in outgoing email

Hi,
We have a disclaimer attached to all of our outgoing email. I need to edit the content of it but I am unframiliar with where this would be stored. (The real network admin is on vacation and I don't want to bug him over something this trivial)
Being almost totally unframiliar with exchange, I would appreciate any help you can give.

Although it is trivially simple to accomplish this, it does involve editing a registry key (assuming third-party s/w has not been used).

The key is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ MSExchangeIMC\Parameters\OutboundAppend
