    IVR port

We use the integrated IVR. When the issue occurs, we have observed the following conditions: 1. The IVR ports go into a "conn" state. Starting with the first IVR port. 2. Calls are still directed to the ports in "conn" state, which results in the caller getting RNA. 3. The last event on the...

Help! I am new to the Avaya world, brand new. We currently have 2 Avaya IP PBXs that we are upgrading and integrating, making one an LSP. My question is this. What happens if the G 450 fails? I asked the sales engineers what happens if the Sup Module in the 450 fails? And he said the 450 has no...

    Paging feedback

I need help!! I have a BCM 400, and a Bogen TPU 250 paging amp. In order to connect the paging output from the BCM to the Bogen we had to solder two wires onto a jack to plug into the BCM page output and connect them to the back of the amp. But the feedback is brutal. Any suggestions would be...

    definity interfacing with cisco cmts

    Receive and Send Lights Blinking!!

the lights blinking indicate that you are not receiving enough rf signal for the modem to sync up. It may not just be in your house, it could be the way the cable is split outside the house. The modem needs the "cleanest" signal possible, so the smaller number of splitters between your modem and...

    copper to fiber

Thanks for the post Hawks, unfortunately my pbx is not set up for fxo/fxs, Veritron is out of the Verimuxs, and are redesigning them, so that solution is 6-12 months out. I can't use T-1 because of our call accounting solution. RAD US has a megaplex, but that application costs more than the...

    copper to fiber

I have a Hitachi 5400, that is used in a hotel, and has 70 analog phones in a remote location ( 3500 feet to another part of the resort with no remote cabinet). It is fed by 100 pair copper, that we are constantly losing pairs on. Our V.P. want s to change this from 100 pair copper to 1 pair of...

    converting from copper to fiber

thanks TDMtek, the only problem is that this is all analog lines, and 100 pair at that. So I am afraid that we will lose some of our features if we do this, if it can even be done. There is no remote shelf, so it really isn't looking feasible at this point.
