Nada, it's just rebooting. There's no indication on the phone display that it's tryng to load any other files such as 16xxupgrade.txt or 46xxsettings.txt. Wierd. Is the phone toast or there any option to force firmware onto the phone / repair it? Thanks. regards Paul

could be corrupt HDD or PSU. I've had a recent problem where BCM400 had all the LEDS flashing and power looked good however PSU had a fault on it and once replaced it booted successfully.

The caps on the motherboard prone to failure were labelled as Leylon and green and gold in colour. I'd be very surprised if there are any BCMs with them that have survived this long, as they would have failed a few years ago. regards paul
