I can't remember--can I just add an ASM8+ card to the BCM to get analog extensions? Or do I need keycodes? I am sure now they are hard to come by, haven't been able to find anything online. Thanks in advance.

If you have a spare slot then yes just add the card
You will need to set the dip switches for the bus you are using

Or if you have a spare digital port on a DSM you can use an ATA-2. On a 400 you don't need a keycode. On a 50 you do need a keycode (either expansion port keycode or a per port basis on the main unit)
