Picked up three phones but the firmware they are running is very old (.066).
The docs talk about using SSH but the phone doesn't allow it, nothing in the settings menu...
Any one know the "old" way to upgrade these phones?
Two Internet connections voice going out WAN2 with failover to WAN1.
WAN2 fails and phone(s) FAILOVER to WAN1 no problem, everything works.
Service restored to WAN2 and due to Mitel keepalive messages, sessions are not cleared on the firewall so the MBG at the remote thinks it's still talking...
Blitz, my assumption is you have this working, are you using trunk side to station side?
My ports are late binding, and they do record all call EXCEPT calls that are tromboning in and then out of the system
Alphamann, i'll take a look at the docs, im not adverse to upgrading the system....
Blitz66 thanks for the response, however neither of the suggestions work. it appears that a tromboning call (either call forwarded or EHDU) does not get reliable picked up b the MIVCR. I've tried just about everything i can think of, trunk side, station side, direct vs indirect.
Below is a log...
Has anyone found a work around or way to do this reliably?
Basically need to record trunk side (or station side) and record a call that is forwarded out of the system. - using SIP Trunks.
stumped.....
OAm im connecting direct.
I've tried diconnecting it from the network and plugged my laptop into LAN1 or LAN2 but the problem is still there - packet loss
OAM works fine as described above.
Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue when even pinging the BCM it drops packets or the response is in the 100's of MS, sometime 1000's.
I've even went as far as disconnecting the LAN and plugging directly into LAN1 or LAN2 but the problem is still there, when I use the OAM it works...
Can't seem to get Screened transfer to work , I'm hoping someone else has run across this?
All other aspects work - Blind Transfer works.
Essentially you press screened transfer and dial the party, but when you try and join the two calls it drops. "transfer failed"
Anyone?
Blitz, thanks for the reply, so I found that setting and it worked on my lab system, but the production system still doesn't work...now I'm really stumped, what else could I be missing???
Keep in mind this is a remote set...I'm officially stumped
So basically I'm wondering if anyone has set this up before and what Outcome they had, i've messed with it for a couple over hours but can get the lamp to light
This is on embedded mail, running 7.0 virtualized
We replaced a defective sx200 with a new 3300 MCD, at this point in the SMDR we only see the output or converted number, is there a way to see the actual speed call that it's dialing?
Trying not to have to go into hundreds of rooms to reprogram all of the buttons.
One of my techs thought it...
