if you have a SRC then you can set the recorder to be a trunk side recorder
that will capture all trunk calls including the forwarded call which would most likely show as a trunk- trunk call - not sure how that would be seen in management studio
for EHDU ( if they are part of an mdu ) you need to add the EHDU extension to the user account so they are displayed
If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
Blitz66 thanks for the response, however neither of the suggestions work. it appears that a tromboning call (either call forwarded or EHDU) does not get reliable picked up b the MIVCR. I've tried just about everything i can think of, trunk side, station side, direct vs indirect.
Below is a log of the EHDU message in the event log.
Blitz66 - do you have this working on a site/lab? If so i would be grateful if you could share config info...thanks in advance
[03021 08:31:13.2]Engr: Defect 2964 Part C - EHD Tromboning Call Detected Ignoring event
What are the Software versions of MiCr and MBG used for SRC ?
indirect recording isnt supported for trunk side and SRc use for SIp trunks was only recent
set up sip trunk SRc based recording (as per Manual)
in lists all extensions , add the extensions for the EHDU
in the user account , add the EHDU extensions to the User

There were issues with trunks and late binding in the past.
9.2 just came out last week and has a new Minet connection and makes mentions of SIP trunk support.
I know i have seen EHDU calls - indials to MDU base extensions , answered on Mobiles
i cant remember if forward external calls were ever shown , these would most likely be flagged as a trunk trunk call ( and perhaps no extension reference)
Ill see if i can do some testing
If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
