We recently upgraded to IPO 500V2 from a 412. We have about 40 conference bridges set up in VM Pro. One of our conferences today experienced crosstalk from a conversation one of our helpdesk people was having on a 5410 phone completely unrelated to the conference. I recall a thread awhile...
We will be installing a CM using VE. It will be replacing an IP Office SCN with approx 20 IP500's V1 and V2. We would like to install the core Cm and still be able to 4 digit dial to the IP Office systems before we convert them all to G430 gateways. Is the fastest way to just use the existing...
I posted last week with a few issues when we upgraded to 8.0.42, I will state them again in hopes of getting some of them resolved as our Avaya case seems to be of very little importance to Avaya. When we upgraded a 500V1 from 5.0.18 we had issues with the PRI. It would not resysnc until the...
Agree with amriddle01, this forum been the boots on the ground for Avaya, they are extremely lucky to have it as Avaya's websites and tech support has alot of improving to do. The people of this forum are the lifeblood of Avaya, not the office jockeys complicating every process.
We are having same issues, before we have to schedule an 8.0.43 upgrade (its a 24 hour operation) We HAVE to know Avaya fixed NOT ONLY the 5410 phone upgrade issues but also the PRI and CLID issues as well as there is considerable loss of revenue involved with the customer having to be down.
We have lost modules on two of the last three upgrades performing the upgrade on the VM machine itself, don't assume it is only happening remotely, it is another Avaya issue they need to work through.
Forgot to mention in the previous post that we replaced the PRI card and still had issues. 8.0.43 fixes set issues, great, what about the PRI and CLID issues? Step up Avaya, uncomplicate and listen to your partners, babysitting these systems is unsustainable.
We upgraded an IP500 last night from 5.0.18 directly to 8.0.42 and had the same issues with 5410's as well as a few 5420's. Along with these issues we experienced PRI problems as well. The PRI would not sync up until we had the provider central office tech take it out of service and put it...
Amriddle01,
They are used to purchasing 16 of something, therein lies the issue, it all adds up! I guess to clarify, delta server was something that we could just download free, and a few adjustments and away we went. Some customers just need to glance at a few calls a week or look back to...
Is there a good replacement for delta server for smdr records? Looking for something simpler and more cost effective than Xima or other dev connect software, though they work great having to buy the license per site is a hard sell for a company that has 16 sites they would like to cover. What...
Thanks for the help, we will try these processes. Are there any plans to speed up the process in 8.? Maybe I am just being impatient like our customers, they want it all done yesterday, guess it's the times we live in.
When upgrading from 7.05 to 7.12 it took about two hours for the upgrade to complete. We are upgrading the way we always have, clicking upgrade etc and letting it go through the process. Is there a faster way to do this with the SD cards now that we are missing? We have a handful of 24 hour...
It currently shows that I need to enter the serial number in the license server to generate a new license and park number? When I look for any info pertaining to this it points to an old dfunct website that must have been set up at one time to generate new serial numbers. This happened after I...
We have IP dect set up on a 412 at 4.1.9 with seven RFP32 base stations. The system ran fine and we added seven more handsets over the last four years with no problems. Due to construction we need to add at least four more base stations and are slao planning an upgrade to 6.1 shortly. I...
We figured out the issue, sort of, the base phone has the option of putting 3 AA batteries in it for power outages, otherwise it is powered by a power supply. After trying everything else including unpluggng it for an extending period, we decided to put batteries in it for s$#ts and giggles...
