Hope this is a right board to post. :)

Just curious what others think.
I'm a developer and for me an ideal environment would be a medium-sized company with about 10 people in IT dept.; supportive manager with possible tech background; and opportunity to learn new things (technology plus education) that is supported by a company.

What's your idea of an ideal environment?
Thanks

Cmon - It's nice over here!

No work, no expectations, lots and lots of PTO, and tons and tons of money.

Sounds just like my place, eyetry. Except for the money bit that is.

I want to be good, is that not enough?

I'd also like to add that I don't think I would like to be managed by sales managers anymore.

My last 2 jobs have been under this management, and while the managers were good to me, they really take advantage of this opportunity to manage IT.
