I was driving behind a Honda this morning with a very clever vanity plate. It had the letters LI, followed by the cent symbol, then finished with PL8.

Have you seen any creative vanity plates lately?

This morning I saw a BMW M3 in a hideous shade of blue. The license plate is:
[tab]IBLUEBYU

I passed him....

Just to throw into this on Saturday I saw a BMW X3 with the plate of
X3 BMW

What are the chances of that? [thumbsup2]

See - now that seems like a huge waste of money but a good application of the term "vanity" to me.

Seen on a Handi-capped plate. ( I have a pic of it as well)
GIMPY1

It's not too personal, but it's meaningless without an explanation, and I've never told anyone what it means (and didn't have to tell my wife) so I'll have to disappoint you...

Plus I'm not sure about the wisdom of posting my license plate number here. :)

Saw 2 more on the way into work this morning.
On the ever wastefully large Suburban, BUSYONE
And on an SUV, couldn't see model and I am not that into cars to know, SAFETY1.

Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding.

Oh, and another I recall seeing last night on the way home:
On a Michigan State University license plate (has the green S on the left): TILES
I will bet I can guess what his last name is.

harebrain: It's "Cow Girl Up" , an expression of country dancing, and rodeo.
I dont think that vanity plates should be censored.
Nothing else is much anymore.

Seen a teenage girl driving a brand new Civic with a license plate - PSLOVEU. Wish I had parents like that.

...IBLUEBYU...
Here in Utah, the license is "BYU BLUE", but that's because the team colors for Brigham Young University are Blue and White..."Go Cougars"...

In the TV series "Heroes", the character played by George Takei had a limosine with a license plate that read NCC 1701.

Randy, for the benefit of those of us who don't watch "Heroes" would you mind elaborating on that one? Thanks...

Yes it was...thanks for pointing that out LizSara. I was never much of a trekkie either, so that reference got past me.

George Takei played the role of Sulu in the Star Trek TV series and movies. On one of his appearances in the TV show Heroes, he was shown getting into a limosine. A brief shot of the car revealed the license plate - NCC 1701, which was the hull number of the Starship Enterprise.
