It's that time again..."Vanity Plates VI" is over 100 images now, so here's a new start with a Vanity Plate
on a vehicle owned by someone who is obviously very vain about his wheels:

I'm not sure what they meant, but it gave me the creeps.

Hi,
Probably a sensualist ( or a tatoo artist who loves the canvas)

On a bright red Pontiac: BLUHEEL9

Perhaps a State (NCSU = red) spouse picked the car color and the other spouse (UNC Tarheels = blue) no doubt got to pick the license plate.

GS, could be they have 9 Blue Heeler dogs.

I saw this one on the highway (the 465 loop around Indianapolis) yesterday...
4COLTS1 - No hidden meaning here...obviously a Colts fan.

On a new Caddy: IWKHARD2

On a black Lexus SUV with an Obama sticker: IJEOMA

Probably a name - there are 107,000 Google hits.

This morning I saw DNTN GRL which I assume to mean Downtown Girl however we were not downtown when I saw her and she wasn't even headed that way. And it was a local plate (orange county FL) so I don't know why anyone would be bragging about being a denizen of downtown Orlando. It's tiny and dull. She might pop a gasket if she ever came into contact with a REAL downtown.

lol - I've never been there but I bet it's more impressive than downtown Orlando!

Come to think of it, I believe there's a Denton, TX too - that would also qualify as more exciting that Orlando.

GOROYLS - KC Royals fan, evidently. Believe it or not, it took me a while to figure this one out. Hey, it's Monday morning, and I had a late night last night.

Either KC fans or they are VERY British.

Or possibly British but not a fan of the royal family - (Go Royals, go! Get out!)
:)

This morning:
[tab]G8TRCHMP
with a University of Florida license plate frame (for those playing along who might not know, UF is known as the Florida Gators, as in alligators).

The "T" seems superfluous. Maybe G8RCHMP and G8RCHOMP were taken.

A group of us from work saw this one at lunch the other day:
Clar1ty

What made it funny was we have this commercial project management program called Clarity that we have to use and 100% of the people in our office hate it because it's so badly designed. We all in unison made some sort of "begone demons" gesture at it when we saw it.

A couple new ones (that I remembered long enough to post):

On a Lexus SUV out in the parking lot:
LIMMMO

And on a Wrangler where most of the bottom looked like it was rusted out:
CHPJEEP

How much do vanity plates cost in the US? They're quite expensive here in Australia (e.g. AUD $440 p.a. for all letters), so it would be unusual to see them on a CHPJEEP.

Annihilannic.

Here is Louisiana. We're pretty low by national standards.

I'd like to change the world, but I can't find the source code.

In most states that I've been in, not that much more than regular plates. Most states also offer a variety of backgrounds for the plates, too. In Virginia, you can have a plate supporting you favorite VA college, sports teams, or some special interests.
