Ok...to continue in a new thread...

PHEWISH

Anyone have ideas on this one?
I think it's "Pfff...You wish!"
It's probably on an expensive car...

Well, I don't want DUKEY on my car, but sometimes the birds in the area think otherwise!

At least DUKEY is relatively easy to wash off. It's better than getting tar from a TARHEEL stuck on your car. That stuff doesn't come off very easily.

rjoubert,

Good point.

Saw PPFFTTT this morning.
I am assuming it is not meant to be an acronym for anything.
But it still made me chuckle.

On a University of Michigan Plate (much like State's green S, this has a Blue M on the left side):

GRM IAM: German, perhaps, or a Grandmother? Bacteria in a petfood? Wait, that's Iams.

AND ONE: Antoine? Pregnant? (I wouldn't get a 12-month plate for that!)

Inside joke for a bowler?

Ed: I bowled a three-hundred and one.
Al: That's not possible!
Ed: Well you can't bowl a 300 and lose![/green]

Their "fore" missed me, therefore their four-iron hit me, which is not what I was there for. It was an unfairway to start my day.[/navy][/small]

RCorrigan,

I've been to Ireland on holiday (2004) and our tour guide told us that every year, the Mayor of Dublin gets a new plate (#1) for his car - this year it's probably 08-D-1.

In fact, out brand new tour bus had a #1 plate (04-KE-1, if memory serves).

(In Ireland, plates have the year of first registration, then the county/city - D=Dublin, then a serial number).

I had to take a different route home yesterday, so I got to see a new one...
FEEDER - This was a freshly cleaned Cadillac Escalade. My only thought on this one is that it's driven by a lawyer. Since the license plate is located near the bottom of the vehicle, you could throw the word "BOTTOM" at the beginning of that, and voila...you've got a lawyer. No offense to any lawyers out there...just a joke.

I also saw a new one this morning on the way into work...
JAZZ LDY - This was on a black two-seater sports car. I think it was a Pontiac Solstice, but I can't be sure, as it was dark.
