I have a Digital Trunk programmed for a dialogic card. If you call internal the route/DSC works, if you call from a cell phone or call the DID from our cs1000 it works. If you call from a residental or POTS line it goes to the operator "0". I have checked all of the programming and can't figure out why some calls work and others do not. I can post any copies of the RLI, DSC, RDB programming as needed. Thanks in advance for any help!

in ld 15 net data, what is pstn set for?Try changing to NO if it is set to YES.

Changing PSTN to "yes" did not help. Here is my rdr_data:TYPE RDR_DATA

Where is the DIDN promt? This seems to be the only DID number that we cannot call. Other numbers in the range work fine. Calling for a Cell phone or another PRI work fine, but calling from POTS lines get redirected to our operator.

May be off here but; This is a tie trunk route, the other may be looking for dial tone from your switch and not getting it. I do not see any of the dial tone prompts after the timer controls. Again I may be way off base but we had one of our switces doing the same thinng until we provide DT on the tie routes and call would them go to assigned extensions instead the operator on site.

MIKE

i would take that out and put it back in as a tie.. the ldn data looks fine.. post one trunk 55 1..

i see that it is a tie on the route, did you try

ld 96
enl msgi x

with x =to the dch.. make sure that the provider is sending the correct digits.. i might try changeing the idc to yes and building a new idc table.. then make the output of that your ext

we know it's broke, we need to find out where.. trad, msgi.. we need to locate the fail point.. all the software you posted looks good... after changing the dch did you dis msdl x all then enl msdl x to get a fdl?

ld 96
stat serv?

I have enabled messaging for that DCH and when I make a test call it does not show anything hitting the DCH, so it's not even hitting the route, correct?

I have not dis msdl x all then enl msdl x to get a fdl, what does that do?

Here is what I get when I do a STAT SERV in ld 96
.stat serv

DCH 001 SERV : DSBL
DCH 008 SERV : ENBL
DCH 009 SERV : ENBL
DCH 035 SERV : DSBL
DCH 050 SERV : ENBL

I believe the TIE route is using DCH 35.

Any more suggestions on this? I have called my provider and they think it is an issue on our switch/programming.

I changed the intercept treatment in ld 15 for the "NBLK" prompt. When I changed the DID entry to OVF I get the "all circuits busy" when I change it to ATN I get the attendent, so that leads me to believe the call is getting blocked in NARS/BARS somewhere. Is that a correct assumption?

You have it programmed as an NCOS 5, but what can a NCOS 5 do?

Can an NCOS 5 phone make this call?

What are the NCOS of the phones that can make this call?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

This is an PRI route and the calls are directed to a windows 2k3 server with a telephony board. We can make calls out to any number, NCOS of 5 is the highest NCOS we have.

Most people think the higher the NCOS the more they can do.

You can program the NCOS with any FRL you want, some an NCOS 5 could have an FRL of 0. The only way to know, is to prt the NCOS in LD 87 and see what they are programmed for.

Don't ASSUME anything.

Also you should use CFF in CDB and raise the NCOS/FRL of the forwarding phone.

DCH 35 is the correct D-channel

But it's built as a PRI and when you stat serv in 96 DCH 35 is disabled?

What happens if you ENL DCH 35 in LD 96?

.stat serv

DCH 001 SERV : DSBL
DCH 008 SERV : ENBL
DCH 009 SERV : ENBL
DCH 034 SERV : DSBL
DCH 035 SERV : DSBL
DCH 050 SERV : ENBL

I'll try to enable the dch and see what happens.

Hmm, No response in over an hour?

I guess that either means he fixed it and went on his merry way or he really broke it and was sent on his merry way.

Now I'll never know if I helped or not...Ahhh the supense is killing me.
