i connect to the centeral by a computer from my office through a modem, so.
In option 1C, how can I print the call details for extension (xxxx)?
Like:
Date Time Number Dialed Duration
what i need exactly?
it gives me a great pleasure to be a member here
thank you

You have to have a seperate CDR device to get the call details. OTM has an option for this, or a stand alone PC connected to one of the serial ports. There are a few vendors that provide this, but the cheap easy way is the PC with Procomm capturing the data.

The PBX itself does not store any call info.

get a standalone pc with procomm on it, you can capture all you want with no license expense. Simple cdr but you can save the capture files and sort through them as needed.

can i make my pc as a standalone for one or two hour only?

Sure you can use any pc for any duration of time, but you would only collect the call data for the time it is connected. The reason i say standalone is that no one goes in and shuts down the procomm.

Collecting it this way is cheap and easy but you would have to sort through the captured text file. its really good if you know you are having a problem, ie someone calling overseas everyday or making harrassing phone calls to someone else. Then you can go in and search for specific info.

1phonetech, if you have the PKG 351, how are you extracting the detail from the buffer?

You would have to ftp to the pbx over the elan to retreive the records.

The pbx can store the records using the BDI if there is no external buffer connected to a tty port. OTM can poll this buffer.

What username and password do you use for the FTP, and once connected what are the instructions? Are these listed in an NTP?

If PDT name/pswd... please do not post!

thank you Johnthephoneguy
can you please tel me what i have to do?
in steps please
thank you very much

When you open OTM do you see a Telemanagement and or Telecom Billing Icon?

You have to turn it on the CDB (LD 15) first under CDR_DATA;

Have a tty port built with user CTY on it (LD 17)

then go into the routes and turn CDR on for each route (LD 16).
