Hey Ye'all,
I'm currently taking ccna classes to get prepaired for certification. Today we were discussing the TTL topic and we wondered at what end of a (let's say) router the ttl is decremented, at the incoming interface, the routerprocess or it's outgoing interface? just for...
If u tell a client to make he's dns request to a dns-server in china rather then the one next door is a "don't care situation" for the clientstation... that is, as long as the packets find their way out (and back) through the standard gateway, which should be configured on your ZoomX5 inside, as...
try this link at cisco:

greetz,
thanks to all of U, I've found the small hole and a plain short press on the button didnt work quite well.
Throughout the pages I found out that you should hold it pressed for a few secs... anyway, all is well now and the password is written down and kept in a safe place...
cheers,
Tkx, Jsteve, I thought i tried that one already since the analogy with the command in IOS12.2 "isdn (test) call ..." in priviledged user mode, but without result even when my four bri are activated (show isdn stat says layer 1&2 are activate) but no layer 3 call occurs.)
both my routers are 2600...
Hey, good news, i finaaly found my way through the support pages of DLink.
I tried the DI624 (without the plussign) an di found everything there is to know...
thanks for helping anyway...
well i've look it up about everywhere... the model is a DI-624+ which is only available in Europe, and you get redirection to the UK or even BE site(since I live in Belgium).
the only thing you find in support is a phone number or the manuals and tech-sheet for download. but no technical support...
Hi,
I'm havin a bit of a problem to initiate manually isdn call setup from one of my cisco 2600 routers in user priv mode with 'isdn test call int BRI 1/0 zzzzzzz#' where z is the actual phonenr. of the called party.
in the 2651 no problem (ios 12.2), but in my router with ios12.0 i can't find...
I have a D-Link 624+ wifi switch router installed, and installed mac-address accesscontrol (only two are allowed).
I have two more pc's to add but lost the admin password to enter the configmode over http.
anyone knowing how to reset or rescue that password.
a reset to default factory settings...
U can't...
it is encrypted with a hash-algoritme which means it is a trap-door. reversing the cypher just doesn't work on hashes.
if U really need to reconfigure or change the password, you can do a recovery through the confreg command at boot.
refer to the cisco-pages for details.
I'm missing some info to picture it all, but...
How is your modem connected physically with your pc? supposing it is a usb modem connected to the pc, you might as well turn of your nic because you're not using it.
(btw the nic gets a APIP-address in a private range which is build in by MS and is...
If you or your boss are up to it, no probs this design will work. the only thing that botters me is that I'm used to have remote sites(1 rem site = min 10-150 users)connected to the dslam with borderrouter functionalities or with a dedicated router behind it (towards firewall and public net)...
Well, you might have a look on either the website of whatever firm the motherboard was made by or check your docs (cd?) with the motherboard. or your drivers are not functioning properly that is at OS-level, or your nic is disabled in the BIOS. it depends a lot of your OS, for example. check...
your drwaing makes sense indeed. I'm trying, however, to imagine if your customers are so far away from you that you have to use local loops (2w-copper) to them. that means each cust needs a x-dsl modem next to his pc or routing device to connect to you. are "customers" network or just one-pc...
