Have a customer that just moved from an old partner plus to an MICS. They have a new location across the street that has been accessing partner thru a cordless. I'm putting in an ATA but can't seem to put my finger on the feature code so that he can access a particular line that has been put...
From what I can gather from Nortel's site, , at least Rel 3.0 of Norstar Msgng 100 will accept .wav files for greeting uploads, apparently even on an ICS KSU. Just curious if previous release, (down to 2.0) may support such.

Great Post DTomas! I put a 206 card in slot 2 where VMail was, slid that into slot 3 and bingo! Works fine. Time for a new carrier.

Voicemail works fine in my cabinet. Does not when it is put in customers.
I'll check the pins on the carrier. Any other ideas would be appreciated before I return to the site.

I programmed Part Mail VS R5 on an ACS 3.0. All worked fine. Brought to customers site & put into an ACS 4.0, everything works EXCEPT you are unable to record MB greetings (I assume also AA though I didn't check as they were OK)or leave messages. After stating "leave message after the tone"...
I have a DBS576HD with 1 analog co card, only 4 extensions used off the back plan, and a linux based IFM voice mail in slot 5. All has worked well since install about 3 years ago till today. Now, no phones ring and voice mail answers right away. I have checked CF B/NA settings, ring delays...
not sure that I need the contact closure (although I could be wrong). amp is set up for telephone paging and it works with just 1 pair from the partner acs.
Having problems getting paging to work on MICS:
Software is 4.1
Paging on all sets enabled
Connecting to a Bogen Gold Series 60 (this pages fine if I connect it to a Partner ACS)This unit is capable of accepting a 600 ohm page source.
Amp is connected to Blk/Sl pair
System pages thru sets fine...
Can't seem to get external notification of new message to work. When new message is dropped into box, you can see the system grab an outside line, holds it for about 5 seconds and drops it. If you try calling line during this time it is busied out. Trunks are supervised. Doesn't6 matter...
