Can't seem to get external notification of new message to work. When new message is dropped into box, you can see the system grab an outside line, holds it for about 5 seconds and drops it. If you try calling line during this time it is busied out. Trunks are supervised. Doesn't6 matter whether you select a single CO or pool. Will not complete outside call whether it is page or regular number. If you set it for extension notification it works fine. Hmmmm....

Are you sure that they are Supervised from the CO? Have you tested them, the reason I ask is because here we have to specify to turn on supervision.

Hawks is right..however depending on which Telco..or rep you speak to..you might have them confused to all hell when you ask this question. Being a Telco you think they would know..anyway..I found this tool useful.
(search for CPC Tester). They usually ship anywhere.. Just something else to add to your collection of tools for the trade. It puts you one step ahead of the rest.
Cheers,

If this were so, it would seem you would have the same problem with grabbing a CO when using system speed dial, which works fine.

If the number that remote notification is calling is busy it will hang up and try again depending on how you have remote notification set up for that mailbox. Try using a cell for this mailbox that is not in use. Also take your butt-set and clip on to the line you use and see if you here the voicemail system calling out. You should here the DTMF tones.
