When 1024 dials 2004 I have busy tone (release and try again). Nothing goes out. Wireshark sniffing at the gw endpoint sees nothing incoming.
When dialing the acod, I have the invite sound to dial, then dialing 1024 leads to the same result.
Testing SIP routing to 1024 with the tool on the NRS...
Hi again,
We have 3 PBXs in networking. Two are old 81C with VGMC32 and SS ISP1100 (soon EOL...). NRS is on these old SS. rls 4.5.
We have also a CS1000E HA rls 5.5 as a PCS and another CS1000E HA as a backup (SCS)
I would like to migrate NRS from our 81C PBXs rls 4.5 to the rls 5.5.
To be...
Hi,
I'm setting up a new NRS on rls 5.5. In a lab environment. Aim is to put in in production...Simple configuration. One CS1000E SA and one SIP gateway. Only SIP route configured.
NRS config is MyDomain.com / udp / cdp
I've created routing entry 1024 in the SIP gateway endpoint. In CS1000E SA...
I'm not sure you have the choice.
Verint software is the Nortel Contact Recorder solution for IP Phones. You need to add a MLS server between the PBX and the NCR...and even for no ACD agent it costs a lot.
Before CS1000E rls 6.0 you're limited to 2 keys for recording, due to AST limitation with...
I've tried Patton SIP/BRI box.
At the beginning it's not easy to configure and to understand what they call "context".
CLI through telnet is a Cisco-like. Sometimes I've programmed features with CLI in order to see where it appears in the menu on the Web interface...
I've connected it with SIP...
I've tried the backup from sig server rls 4.5 and restore on rls 5.5 and with the same DN, callers list and Personal Directory are empty.
I've done the test with 1 DN only. Create this DN on rls 5.5, import the big file from the rls 4.5 PBX (40 MB). So maybe the rls 5.5 sees plenty of...
Hello,
Due to the fact we can save this file, if we take a rls 4.5 file and import it in a rls 5.5 sig server, according to you will it work ? For sure the DN on rls 4.5 will be deleted and created onto rls 5.5, but not with the same virtual TN.
Because we have a rls 4.5 PBX with old sig...
I've found what was wrong.
On analogic TNs when CLS MPTA is activated then the VGW accepts only Modem Pass Thru G.711 transmission. It rejects T.38 and others.
It allows then to transmit at 33.6 kpbs. Usefull when you want your fax to transmit or receive faster with PSTN connexions. Or for...
Hi there,
I'm wondering how to use T.38 protocol for sending faxes overs SIP trunks between our PBX instead of G.711 Modem PassThrough.
Tests between our main office in rls 4.5 and office in rls 5.5 shows that faxs are transmitting well indeed, but DspMode on VGW shows ModemPT G.711-20
I try...
I have problems with my Media Cards 32 ports : some of them are rebooting sometimes (Nortel has found a defective patch), some channels are stucked in a busy state. Only audit in background can free these ressources. And when it does this job AUD093 are appearing among other messages. Less than...
works fine for me.
server configuration : Elan IP address of the sig server
try to perform a scheduled backup to one of your network folder and see if the file is generated and what size it has.
No change for registered users. However I'm using rls 4.5 so I don't know for rls 3.0
nodePwdSet for entering the password.
nodePwdEnable to activate it.
If you install or reboot a phoneset you'll be prompted to enter teh node password to enter the TN config.
Very simple.
It seems you have problems with your VGMC cards.
Channels are stuck in a Busy state after a communication has occured on them.
Do you have the Audit running in background ? Seems yes because these AUD093 are triggered by it when doing some cleanup.
Don't worry it has normaly no impact on...
Gwebster if I understand well you mean that each vendor has developed its own SIP protocol. So better to stay with Unistim...
Do you have a list of supported SIP phones for the THIRD PARTY SIP LINES licences. On the Nortel Website there are only a few indicated with Cs1000e...
By the way what...
