Afternoon all. We're currently segregating part of our network for various long winded reasons. What this means is that users phones and computers in a certain department are connected to different network switches and we want to be able to block access on the network ports on the phones to stop...
Thanks for the quick response Ronster. Yes they were going out over the correct trunk group but I was being an idiot. Didn't see that the trunk group wasn't set to send the calling number!! All sorted now.
Hi All - hope someone can point me in the right direction here...
Our outbound CLI is restricted for all extensions but I can unrestrict for specific users if required and use the public-unknown number table to give out various CLI's. However I can't get this to work for the attendant conscole...

To make this even more frustrating, on the odd occasion I do get blocked... but it's on a very rare occasion which has confused me even more!

Hi - I know you can use vector, vdn and ICHT programming to block incoming nuisance callers but when a call is non ACD and to a direct dial number this doesn't work. I'm sure in the past I have used the EC500 method but I haven't looked at it for years and can't for the life of me see where I am...
Thanks.
Unfortunately as far as I have seen this doesn't disable the Rich ringtones but it sets the Classic tones as the default. I have set RINGTONESTYLE as "0" and "1" but it just changes which one is the default view. I was hoping to try and remove the Rich tones completely.
Does anyone know of a way to disable the Rich ringtones on the above sets? I'm just about to start using these and can imagine the array of noises coming from the office when they realize they can play about with them!
I know I can set Classic and Ringtone 1 as the default using the settings...
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. We have a contact centre on CM5.2. Our outbound calls are set to show the main CLI of the ISDN30. I can change what CLI is sent by the public unknown numbering tables sending out any DDI within our range. However for a few stations I want to...
Can anyone please advise me on the best settings for an ip-network region for homeworkers (CM5.2). We use one-x communicator and calls from people at home to the users in the office are fine but to other homeworkers the quality isn't the best. I've always put this down to users broadband and vpn...
I know this has probably been answered on here somehwere but can't find a definintive answer...
When we try and call internal extensions directly from the call log the callers number intermittently shows "unavailable" thus not allowing you to dial it, this doesn't happen all the time! I'm sure...
Apologies as I used the word hold in the post instead of mute. We have no issues with hold. It happens occasionaly when users press the mute button!
Thanks
I have just been advised that occasionally when users put calls on hold that is cuts the caller off. I have traced called and checked event logs and can't see anything that could relate to this - also a search of forums doesn't bring this issue up and nothing relating to the phones firmware...
I've just got 3 of these upgraded onto the 1.4 firmware as we had the same issues of calls disconnecting mid call and the 2204 error message.
Upgraded and working fine now on the latest firmware. Although these were the 1st ones I have upgraded and wasn't aware that the 0000000000.cfg file...

Hi - We have an issue where occassionaly (random and intermittent) a phone will drop off the network and re-register. This will cause the PC to lose network connection. The Phone will look like it has been powercycled. this happens to lots of phones at different times...
The guest login feature works perfectly for our 96xx series phones but we also still deploy 4620's. Is there anythinng similar for the 46xx series?
Thanks
I have a phone in a meeting room with a 4 digit extension number. When certain people use this meeting room they want to use their own extension number instead.
I don't want the logoff feature on these stations as it caused problems in the past, and I don't want to give them the admin password...
I know there are lots of posts about this and I already block various numbers from calling in using VDN's, Vectors, VRT tables etc.
However we have someone who keeps calling into various DDI numbers and is becoming a nuisance now. His calls come direct to DDI numbers(on ISDN PRI)and not through...
