Annother question a last: for activating Phontage/UCS, can i write in any type of key in the value field under System lock key install?" No, that's for the lock key from the manufacturer. I need some answers for beginner

Digital phones connect directly to the control unit via traditional phone wiring. IP phones use Category cabling and IP networking. You can use VoIP, in the form of SIP Trunking, with digital and analog phones with the emg80. www.jacksonvilletelephone.com Jacksonville Florida Telephone Systems

    Remote Phone Issues

Yes, on the MFIM you'll need a VOIM24 and we'll need to spend some time setting up the proper port forwarding on your router. The UCP can expand to 20 VoIP channels with just licensing. www.jacksonvilletelephone.com Jacksonville Florida Telephone Systems

I believe your issues will go away if you switch to "Remote" for the phones. However, each internal call when then take up a VoIP Channel. www.jacksonvilletelephone.com Jacksonville Florida Telephone Systems

iPECS 100 - Want additional extension to ring when call internally

Yes, you're right. Sorry, didn't take the time to look to see if it would work with analog extensions. The only way I can think of doing it would be to make a station (ring) group for each extension that contains the VoIP phone and the analog extension. You would then call the group number and...

    eMG-80 - SIP (No Voice)

"I use "Provision" as UID Register..." You have to use "Register" in order for the system to register to the SIP provider. PFSense usually breaks the registry for SIP. You can add a Manual Outbound NAT rule to solve this issue. Look at this example...

Suggestions for Vodavi Voicemail for the 1428 System

If I remember correctly, the Digital Dispatch did not work with the 1428. The Digital Disptach came out years after the 1428. You could try the analog Dispatch, but I really wouldn't bother. The phone system is a quarter of a century old, it's past time for it to be retired...
