what I meant - I did chmod 777 * for all directories. It worked. There are sub dirs, instead of going into every directories and do chmod, is there a command that I could use that take care of the permissions.
How do I get the following information for Solaris 2.8 server:
- Build level
- OS Patch level
- Server memory size....
- # of CPUs per server
- swap space
- network cards

This is a new incident. Application wise nothing has changed. The strange situation is as we hear from the Sys Admins that they do not delete anything, the space gets released on its own. Any suggestion what we could do from development standpoint to monitor what is causing this situation.
