Another thing that you can try, that has worked for me, is to make a new copy of the database in question and see if that one opens up with no problems. If it does, delete the original and copy the new one back to the original location.
One thing you will want to look at is server space. When a user is converted to roaming, it will replicate bookmarks, personal journal, and address books to the server. While this is not a large amount of data, normally per user, it can add up.
No, there is no way to retract a sent e-mail, currently, in Lotus. There is a 3rd party program called Fetch, that will allow this functionality. Basically, unless you use a 3rd party program, you will have to open each mail box and delete the offending e-mail.

There is no easy way to prevent users from using something. You can however, hide it in the address book so they cannot see it, thus making it harder for the to use it. They would still be able to manually type it in, but would not be able to select it in their address book.

Lotus Notes 6.0.2 CF1 Client.exe"
It is probably an upgrade kit and not the full install version as you find on the OEM CD's. If you have the full version CD, then you will find the Install Shield program on it. With that you can build an unattended install, or use the Setup.exe -R, as stated...
Not sure if it is possible for this to be accomplished, however, you can "hide" the group from non-members. If they can't see it, they can't use it type of scenario. If they know what the group name is, they would be able to type it in, but most people have trouble remembering passwords, let...
You may need to upgrade to a newer version of EasySynch. The version you have may not support all the features of R6. You can probably go to their web site and see if they have a newer version to support this feature.
I had a similar problem. I went to PC-Cillan's site and used their online scanner and it found 236 viruses. After cleaning them all off, I was able to install and update Norton.
Try looking in the "Views > All Documents" and see if it shows it there. You would be able to move the e-mail back to wherever you like, if it is there. As to why it disappears, I couldn't say, as I have not seen that problem.
Unfortunately you can't copy the folders, at least as far as I have tried. It can be a pain to do, but, I'll see if I can figure something out and post if I do.
The only way I know to do this is to open both databases up.
select the documents/messages/folders in the old databse.
Go to Edit > Copy
Switch to new database and go to the desired destination folder
Go to Edit > paste
The copied messages should take on all access rights of the new...
Check to see if the Notes.ini file (or other file(s) in the Notes directory or Notes\Data directory is set with a Read-only attribute. The file should be set to Read/Write.
Easier way would to uninstall Lotus and remove all of the directories it leaves behind, then re-install it. When you are installing it, there is an option to allow all users to use the program. Once it is installed and the user is logged on, as him/herself, setup their Notes. Lotus will...
The problem lies with Outlook using Rich Text Fromat, which really isn't RTF, but, TNEF. To recover these files you can use a program called WMDecode. You can get the program at http://www.biblet.freeserve.co.uk/
It is a pretty easy program to use. Just unzip the .EXE to your desktop. To...
