I would like to know (if it is possible) the steps to import one persons email file (olduser.nsf) into a new users mail file (newuser.nsf).

I do not want the new user to simply have rights to the old user email through ACL management on the old file. I would like to import the entire contents of the olduser.nsf to the newuser.nsf, including the creation of any folders and subfolders that old email may have been moved into.

Thanks

Andy

The only way I know to do this is to open both databases up.

select the documents/messages/folders in the old databse.
Go to Edit > Copy
Switch to new database and go to the desired destination folder
Go to Edit > paste

The copied messages should take on all access rights of the new database. It does take some time, but I do not believe there is another way and I tried everything to accomplish what you are trying to do.

Hope this helps.

Were you able to copy the user created folders that way as well?

I was pretty sure this was the answer I was going to get but was hoping for better. I have one nsf with about 150 folders and 1,000s of emails to get over to another nsf.

Thanks

Unfortunately you can't copy the folders, at least as far as I have tried. It can be a pain to do, but, I'll see if I can figure something out and post if I do.
