I am trying to set up an unattended install for Notes Release 6.0.2. I can not find how to do this. I found where you use a SETUP.ISS file for 5.x, but nothing for 6.

Does anyone know where I can find this information?

Thanks!

I take the sound of crickets to be a resounding "NO".

..was that tumbleweed.....

Copy the client install files onto a pc and run "setup -R" to create the .iss file. Don't have the link, but there is a technote on lotus for this somewhere.

Thanks for the response.

I think my company may have a "special" (read as: propriatary junk) version of LN6. The only file I have for the setup of LN is called "Lotus Notes 6.0.2 CF1 Client.exe". When I try to run it with the " -R" switch, it doesn't build the .iss file.

Lotus Notes 6.0.2 CF1 Client.exe"

It is probably an upgrade kit and not the full install version as you find on the OEM CD's. If you have the full version CD, then you will find the Install Shield program on it. With that you can build an unattended install, or use the Setup.exe -R, as stated before.

Just thought i'd mention. I just ran N6.5 setup -R from a w98 client with the install files on a w2000 server share. It didn't create the .iss file that I expected. You are probably better to look at getting the InstallShield app that's on the original client CD.
