Unity is functional but logs event id 10015. what does it mean?

Our CallManager and Unity is functional. However, an error is logged whenever someone leaves a message: IAvDohMessage::Submit returned [0x800404dc] on line 1047 of file E:\Views\CU4.2.0.110\un_Core2\ConversationEng\AvStateSvr\AvSMsgSend.cpp The voicemail emails used to also say the name of...

Invisible user accounts in AD after CallManager and Unity installation

Found that the invisible users had the 'showinadvancedviewonly' attribute set to true. Our vendor said he didn't hide anyone from the directory or exchange while using the permission wizard...but somehow that attribute got set on these users. I used ADSIedit to change them all back to 'not set'

Invisible user accounts in AD after CallManager and Unity installation

Ever since our vendor installed Unity and CallManager, some user accounts become invisible to Active Directory Users and Computers. All the invisible user accounts show up when you do a find. The users can log in to the network and everything appears to function correctly. Comparing the...

MPLS speed - is 180kbps data transfer normal?

Hi all, We have an MPLS connection between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. In our Los Angeles office, we have a gigabit backbone LAN. FTP transfer rate between the two sites never exceeds 180kbps. The ISP is blaming everything but their configurations. The video transfer rate is around 1mbps...

    Routing advice

I thought about that, but that won't work either because the VPN gateway would reject all traffic from the new network, the 192.168.0.0 network.

    Routing advice

yea...the support for that gateway is crap and they're very tight on giving access. anyway, thanks for your input. I was hoping I could do something like "if packets are coming through this interface and destined for 192.168.0.100 go to this interface, for all other traffic go to 10.10.10.1."...

    Routing advice

That's true. I guess the easiest way is to just add a static route on the VPN gateway so it knows about the 192.168.0.0 network and send all traffic going there to the cisco router.

    Cisco 831

Double NAT'ting doesn't work too well. Why do you have to use the ISP modem as a router? You should just use the 831 as the router doing the NAT.

    Routing advice

I just took over management of a LAN with the following subnet 10.10.10.0, with a gateway of 10.10.10.1, used as a VPN gateway to other networks. The devices on the existing network needs to communicate to one computer that's in a new subnet that I'm implementing, 192.168.0.0. The computer has...

IP SoftPhone VOIP working but only to LAN

Do you have Least Cost Routing program? I've gotten fast busy signals when trying to configure least cost routing with the softphones before. I just took off least cost routing instead of fixing because of time and now it works.

or you could have his voicemail ringback her extension instead of his when there's a message.

    IP406 replacement procedure

I just want to stress Morrack's point. Make absolute sure you have everything plug into exactly the same place on the new unit.

    Sudden Catastrophic Call Quality Degradation

I've been experiencing the same problems lately with a lot of client sites running different versions. Off the top of my mind, one site was on 2.1.15 and one was on 2.0.18. Not sure what could be causing this, but a reboot of the control unit (all IP403) fixes the problem. After the reboot I...

Mail boxes, phone manager lite & VM Pro

Another method would be creating two huntgroups. In incoming call route route calls to a huntgroup with no voicemail enabled, set the time profile, and for fallback have VM:mailbox, where mailbox is a voicemail module that leaves mail in the 2nd huntgroup's voicemail box. You can use this...

    VOIP over Private VPN

i've had similar symptoms before and it turned out to be a routing issue. Make sure all your routers and ipo's have static routes to each subnet. My scenario was that one site can ring the other site, but when the user picks up there's no communication. It turned out one of the routers was...

    3626 Wireless Solution

If you have a VPN to another location why do you need two SVPP's? I thought the SVPP emulates an IP hardphone and converts the SVP packets to ip packets so that it can communicate with the control unit and terefore with any other devices including those at remote locations.
