I want to implement service observing, but want to restrict supervisors from listening in on non-ACD calls. Is it possible to set up service observing to monitor a hunt group extension instead?

Disregard my original post. I cheated and called Avaya yesterday. They confirmed that this was a bug (or should I say "undocumented feature") in the current release.
That's a great question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to that. My guess is that it would have to be blocked by the carrier, but don't hold me to that.
What I have done to stop sending individual extension numbers is changing the 'Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number' flag to 'N'. This is found on page 2 of the station info. Of course, I've had to do this on all extensions.

I have a CLAN board that I've installed for use with IP softphones. The softphone users will be connecting to us in Road Warrior mode from an external IP (non-VPN).

Does the Definity have the ability to display caller-ID name information when receiving an outside call?
The switch is sending the caller-ID digits when it can, but if it could also send the name, that would be great.

Is there a way to screen calls that have covered to voicemail, and have the ability to pick up on the call as the caller is leaving a message? I've seen key systems that have this feature, and I'm hoping the Definity has this ability.

You won't be able to change the customer-options page. You can only view it
Only Avaya or your vendor can actually change it, as far as I know. Someone on this forum referred to it as the "money page" - nothing could be further from the truth!

I'm not sure what release this was made available on, but if it's enabled you can access the holiday table by keying 'change holiday-table' and entering the table you want to modify.
If you can't run that command, go into 'display system-parameters customer-options' and look on page 5 or so and...
