Whenever you call an internal number from out of the call log, the phone automaticly adds a 9. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,

D

Hmmm..... our IP 4620's don't do this......

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

We have the same problem on our 4620 sets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Ok figured it out.

You need to edit the 46XXsettings.txt and remove the ## from the following fields:

SET PHNDPLENGTH 4 (Digits in your dial plan)

SET PHNOL 9 (Outside line access code)

Phones must be rebooted and TFTP server must be running for changes to take affect.

The above tells you how to change this, in addition you may want to read the following as it states some further settings you can customize on the 4620/30 sets. The following is a sample file along with descriptions of what each field does:
ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/tsoweb/ip_telephone/46xxsettings.txt

Thank you,
