Is there any kind of holiday routing based on date that can be programmed into the vector's?

I'm not sure what release this was made available on, but if it's enabled you can access the holiday table by keying 'change holiday-table' and entering the table you want to modify.

If you can't run that command, go into 'display system-parameters customer-options' and look on page 5 or so and look for "Vectoring (Holidays)" to see if it's enabled.

You can then tie it into a vector by using syntax similar to the following:
02 goto step 26 if holiday in table 1

Hope that helps.

Best regards,
Jason

To be complete, it's available as an option with "call center release 9". As with the PBX shown below, You can have an R10 PBX running R6 call center. Do a "disp syst cust" and look at the top of page 6 to find the call center release prior to looking for the feature activation.

display system-parameters customer-options Page 5 of 9 SPE A
CALL CENTER OPTIONAL FEATURES

Call Center Release: pre-8.1

ACD? y PASTE (Display PBX Data on Phone)? y
BCMS (Basic)? y Reason Codes? y

BCMS/VuStats Service Level? y Service Observing (Basic)? y

I can display but not change 'cust-options'. Do I have to purchase this feature?

You won't be able to change the customer-options page. You can only view it

Only Avaya or your vendor can actually change it, as far as I know. Someone on this forum referred to it as the "money page" - nothing could be further from the truth!

Ok, we got the holiday routing activated, but, how do I use it in a vector? Hayw00d, I tried the syntax you mentioned and it doesn't give me the option of 'holiday'.

Are you sure that in "disp sys cust" the "Vectoring (Holidays)" is turned to yes. If so, Hayw00d's syntax would be correct.

goto step 10 if holiday in table 1

To change the holiday tables, the command is "change holiday x" (where x is the table number...you should have 10)

I figured it out. I was trying to change the vector in CMS, but it doesn't allow you to. It allows you to do holiday vectoring in the switch.
