Hi there.. Installed a Startalk flash with 1.9 version software with an existing MICS system, (which has a NAM before but that is now gone) The problem I am getting is that the flash seems to boot up fine but there is no connection between the two systems, none of the FEATURE 9### codes work...

Hi Gabriel, Yup double checked the cables and they were seated correctly... I don't have any CallerID cards, just using regular CO lines. It does have a maintenace option but was not really helpful... And also followed the standard nortel wiring spec with skips as you mentioned as well...

Hey all, Any help would be appreciated! Normally my partner does the installs but this one i'm stuck on myself... installed the CICS DR1 expanded, got the extensions and lines wired correctly... system booted up fine, set the square template startup ... everythings good, system has 7 lines, so...

Figured it out! God I feel soo stupid right about now lol. Under call handling theres an option for: HOLD = TONES (I believe thats what it was...roughly) it needed to be changed to HOLD = MUSIC Anyway, thanks for everyones help... sometimes something small can drive you nuts !!

Should have also mentioned that this 3x8 is DR1, not DR5

Hi all, Installed a 3x8 and the music on hold feature is not working... basically took a headphone output from a CD player and connected that to pair 25 (Violet/Slate) on the bix. Also made sure that Music on Hold=Y in the **config system settings... I'm not sure what else could be going wrong...
